📍 New Delhi: In a joint press conference 🗣️ by India's top foreign affairs and defense officials 🇮🇳, they said that Pakistan 🇵🇰 used drones made in Turkey 🇹🇷 and hid their attacks by flying them near regular passenger planes ✈️. This happened during a series of aggressive military actions ⚔️ aimed at India.

🧑‍✈️ Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, 🧑‍💼 Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, and 🪖 Colonel Sofiya Qureshi spoke to the media one day after Pakistan launched a planned attack with drones 🛸 and missiles 🚀. These attacks targeted 15 Indian military bases 🛡️ in the north and west of the country.

🇮🇳 India responded quickly 🔁 by hitting back at several places inside Pakistan, focusing on their air defense systems 🎯. The Indian Armed Forces 💂‍♂️ successfully took out Pakistan's air defenses in Lahore, which caused big power outages ⚡ in over 15 cities 🏙️, including Srinagar, Chandigarh, and Bhuj. The Ministry of Defence 🏛️ later confirmed that no one was hurt 🚫🤕 and no buildings were damaged 🏗️❌ on the Indian side, saying that the threat was stopped effectively 🛑 using both direct attacks 💣 and other methods 🧠.

📅 During an earlier press conference about "Operation Sindoor" 🔴 on May 7th, Indian officials had said that their response to the terror attack in Pahalgam 💣 was meant to be limited and not make things worse 🤝, and that they avoided hitting any Pakistani military buildings 🏢.

📰 But according to Thursday's joint statement 📄, on the night of May 7th–8th, 2025, Pakistan tried to hit military bases 🪖 in several Indian cities:

📍 Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bathinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj, using drones 🛸 and missiles 🚀.

🛡️ Indian defense systems, including the "Integrated Counter-UAS Grid" ⚙️, successfully stopped these threats 🚫.

🧑‍💼 Foreign Secretary Misri stressed that India's actions were measured ⚖️ and were only done to hit back 🔁 directly at the April 22nd terror attack in Pahalgam 🧨, Kashmir, which India believes was planned by militants supported by Pakistan 🕵️.

🗨️ "We have no plan to make things worse. Pakistan chose to make the situation more serious; our actions have been targeted 🎯 and in proportion to what they did. The choice of making things even worse now lies with Pakistan," Misri stated.
